GOOD HOTEL LONDON / ROOMS
Good Hotel London is a floating social pop-up hotel moored in the historic Royal Victoria Docks offering views over the river Thames and city of London. It moved there from Amsterdam where it stayed for one year while training 70 unemployed Amsterdammers to find a job in the hospitality industry. The Good Hotel, which was totally re-purposed from a former detention center into a beautiful 144 room hotel, offers a premium hotel experience and the opportunity to do something back for the local community while traveling.

Twin room / We didn’t design golden taps or use marble tabletops to create a premium look and feel. We found luxury in simplicity and originality.
DeLuxe bed / This wall-to-wall layout is inspired by a traditional Dutch 'bedstee'.
DeLuxe room / Sleeps two in a comfortable wall-to-wall king size bed and offers stunning views over the water.
Double bed / Pure and simple with two iconic swing-arm lamps.
Double room / Every room has a specific guest in mind. This central double bed layout is designed for young creative couples.
Local art / All rooms feature artwork from Brazilian street artists photographed by Remko when he was in Rio for GG.
Inspiration cabinet / We put a lot of effort in designing the best cabinet for our guests. The open frame keeps the room spacious while providing sufficient storage space and the integrated 'bowl' helps you to never loose your keys again.
Desk / Integrated desk with iconic swing-arm lamp.
Wooden wall hangers / We mixed custom-made design with items sourced from HEMA and IKEA.
Detail / All rooms feature a wooden headboard with a hidden charger for your smart phone.
Doors / The artwork secretly shows housekeeping which room type it is and the rooms numbers are custom-made from stainless steel. One of our favorite details are the laser etched oak door hangers. The corridors are black to create a quite atmosphere with gallery-like splashes of art. When you enter the transition from dark to light makes the small rooms feel more spacious.
