GOOD HOTEL LONDON / PUBLIC SPACE
Good Hotel London is a floating social pop-up hotel moored in the historic Royal Victoria Docks offering views over the river Thames and city of London. It moved there from Amsterdam where it stayed for one year while training 70 unemployed Amsterdammers to find a job in the hospitality industry. The Good Hotel, which was totally re-purposed from a former detention center into a beautiful 144 room hotel, offers a premium hotel experience and the opportunity to do something back for the local community while traveling.

Reception / Open layout 'living-room' reception area.
Reading table / We were looking for the right blend of industrial and natural. Showing the construction and sturdiness of the building and combining it with elements, materials and textures that make you feel right at home.
Neon art / Good Hotel Amsterdam is not a (so called) design hotel. We used design to create an experience that embodies the mission of the Good Group: Premium hospitality with a cause.
Ivy's lounge / The wonderful photos of Good Hotel staff are conversation-starters and create awareness for Good Group's social philosophy. This is a collage of Ivy showing his favorite spots in Amsterdam.
The spot light / Sit here for a private moment to check your mail...
Bar / The multi-functional 'day and night' layout of the bar focusses all food & beverage related activities in one area. This creates a social buzz from breakfast till late nights drinks that connects guests and staff.
Xadrya's lounge / Much like you would see in a Dutch home, we mixed design classics by Lensvelt and Moooi with everyday design from Hema and the items we designed ourselves for Good Hotel.

Communal table / When we opened up the space we found some amazing metal frames hidden in the walls.
Valerie's lounge / Pure is premium to us. We didn’t design golden taps or use marble tabletops to create a premium look and feel. We found luxury in simplicity and originality.
